From Transfers to the Treetops
23/05/2026 (Sat) · 1 min read · By David Lyons
After two years of early mornings and airport runs, Kuranda Transfers is stepping back from the transport side of things.
It's been a genuine privilege looking after the Kuranda community and the tourists who found themselves without a way down the mountain. I'm grateful to everyone who trusted me over the past two years.
We've always offered both tours and transfers, but from June 2026 the focus shifts exclusively to private day tours through the Wet Tropics. Small groups, your pace, your day.
If you just need a transfer, we can point you in the right direction.
